We have coach trips of varying lengths:
Day trips include private gardens, usually within approx. 2 hours drive, or to shows such as Harrogate.
Day trips must be paid for two months ahead to ensure the coach can be paid for and the the excursion can go ahead.
There are also holidays, all garden orientated, usually lasting three days.
TRIPS 2026
FRIDAY, 29th MAY, 2026 – Cost £40 Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park, Ripon

FRIDAY, 12th JUNE,2026 – Cost £35 Hoyland Plant Centre followed by Wentworth Garden Centre and Gardens
This trip includes tea/coffee and cake at Hoyland followed by a tour of an old-fashioned Nursery which propagates the vast majority of its stock. It is well known for their collections of not just agapanthus and nerines but unusual bulbs including diarama, clivia, tulbaghia, watsonia, scadoxus, arisaema, pleonie and disa orchid.
At the Wentworth Garden Centre, the cost to go into the gardens will be £2.95 each or RHS members can go in free (on production of their membership card). I cannot purchase tickets in advance for the gardens.

SATURDAY, 11th JULY, 2026 – Cost £36 Belvoir Castle Garden and Flower Show
Adam Frost, David Domoney from ITV’s Love your Garden and Paula Routledge from Flora Media will be there.
Can I have payment by the meeting on 23rd April please and definitely by 20th May to secure tickets at the best price.

SATURDAY, 15th AUGUST, 2026 – Cost £36 Rutland Flower Festival
I have been asked to do this Trip again as it was really popular last year, Carol Klein will be there.

NOTES:
I will do a trip to Newby Show in September and maybe a Christmas themed one at a big country house if enough members are interested.
