Thank you for your interest.
We are a friendly club, founded in 1985, and now with some 130 members.
Our activities include:
- Monthly Meetings on the FOURTH Thursday of the month (except December)
- Annual Daffodil Charity Show
- Annual Flower Vegetable and Craft Show
- Workshops (if requested)
Please take a look around our site. We’re sure you’ll find something of interest.
A massive ‘well done’ to Jean and Bill for raising £645 (at the last count), for the RNLI, through the sale of daffodils, earmarked for our Show, and Rob Potterton plants. These were kindly donated by Rob due to the situation at his nursery at Nettleton. Just to reassure everyone, these were sold on the roadside to passersby only! Thanks to all those who also donated their daffodils and plants for the charity.
Dear Members, while we’re all in lockdown, keep in touch via our Members’ Gardens page (via the link on the top right of this page). Send a picture to the email address sent out by Jean, or if you didn’t receive it, get in touch if you’d like to join in.
With great sadness, the Committee would like to inform all members that, due to the current coronavirus crisis, we have had, as of 16th March 2020, to cancel all speaker meetings, trips and the July Holiday.
WE VERY MUCH REGRET THAT THE SEPTEMBER SHOW IS ALSO NOW CANCELLED, DUE TO THE ONGOING SITUATION.
Members have been contacted about these changes by letter and email, but the safety and well being of the membership at the present time is paramount, which we are sure everyone will appreciate.
As soon as meetings reconvene, the information will be on the website. Thank you all for your understanding. Happy gardening!
Fire Regulations restrict numbers in the hall but provided we have fewer than 130 people, (we average 85) you will be welcome to come and join us.
